My name is Keri Hendry and I work as a journalist for the Island Sand Paper on Fort Myers Beach, as well as freelance for the diving website, diversonly.com. My family has lived in Lee County since 1860. This blog is a way for me to allow my writing to get more exposure and to connect with people interested in Florida history. Some of the postings will be on this subject, and others may just be whatever is on my mind at the moment. I have another blog that centers around my writings as an avid environmentalist – floridatreehugger.com. I welcome any and all comments, and I would love to interact with readers! Hi Keri,
Great blog. I grew up on the east coast of FL and love the State’s rich and somewhat offbeat history. Keep it up.
